[00:00] And so far the mod did the only one who's spoken in appropriately seems like [00:03] Oh, are we ready? [00:05] Mostly probably me, I don't know [00:14] Okay [00:15] Everyone welcome to town hall [00:17] being number one for December 8th [00:21] And we have a few things on the agenda [00:25] If I can [00:26] frickin' pull it up [00:28] Yeah, so [00:30] We have a few things to cover [00:31] We're gonna cover the Mirage District [00:33] low-cost dorms [00:35] DOT land ownership post office system [00:39] Minecraft 1.4 bugs and [00:42] Open topic so that's kind of your guys's time to throw in extra things that we may have missed in this meeting [00:49] So I guess we'll start with the Mirage district expansion [00:52] Montes has really been [00:55] The one that kind of is taking this off [00:58] I was able to get purchase Mike Dovin's shop and we're not shop farm and [01:04] The rages so it's kind of a big lot. We want to do more shots big shots small shops and also [01:11] Three towers in that area. So one's gonna be storage for the Mirage extra storage for tenants [01:18] And we also want to do like little offices for tenants [01:22] It's kind of like a little benefit to have you have a shop in the Mirage [01:26] and also two more towers and they're gonna be apartments one of them being like [01:33] higher-end apartments and then another one lower-end the lower end is gonna be [01:39] kind of big there's gonna be a lot of small apartments and we're talking about [01:44] selling them for a hundred bucks each so they'll be cheap I think you can go [01:48] even lower like 50 bucks so if you're a new player go in there get a tiny dorm [01:52] and like a newbie kit so that's the idea there and just build a bunch of tiny [01:57] little little puns fun and the thinking behind that is to to prevent like [02:02] cobble boxes littering the landscape like like they are so that's basically [02:10] the gist of the large expansion. So does anyone have any comments on this or input that they [02:21] want to have. How do you plan on advertising it? In the chat just talking about it like [02:27] I usually talk about all my apartments so if a new player comes in either I or [02:31] Rage or Chicken will be there to let you know someone know who's new whose name [02:37] is black and being a shift list let them know hey we got new player [02:42] apartments if you're interested it's 50 bucks it's practically free if you get [02:48] money from 18 you know 55 bucks a day so it's practically free it's like a safe place to stay [02:55] you'll get a newbie kit and hopefully you won't spam leave the land with um a couple boxes and [03:01] that seemed to work with all my apartments i've sold almost a lot of them so just promoting and [03:08] chat um i think is what we're gonna do maybe something in the forums i don't know chicken [03:12] Yeah, um, striking reforms in chat primarily [03:18] Does anyone have any other inputs or [03:24] Okay, I guess I wanted a lot low-cost dorms [03:30] Yeah, we already you know, like I just said, we're gonna build cheaper dorms [03:33] we already built some some bigger dorms in orthospawn if you take the [03:37] Cerro lane all the way north of spawn. There's already an apartment building and it's got 18 apartments [03:43] We sold I think half of them already for 300 and they're kind of big and they're furnished. Yeah, they're furnished. [03:53] So I think what we learned doing that is we're going to make even smaller apartments and that dorm North of spawn comes with a community farm. [04:03] and like a newbie kit like stone tools and stuff so that's what we enraged and [04:08] working on for the past few days I think so last Saturday we got started on that [04:13] okay I guess we could probably move on to DOT this is probably gonna so I've [04:23] noticed I think a lot of us have noticed that it's been a lack of [04:27] expansion over the past few months but I don't know what you guys has been put on [04:37] it is. My thing about the DOT is that for a while we had a whole lot of people that were really [04:46] passionate about making sure that roads got built and they were built to spec and you know bringing [04:51] roads out to people and they kind of fizzled out when the 1.25 or yeah 1.25 when we got stuck on [05:01] that patch and we lost a lot of people. So it we kind of just need I think we need people to [05:08] just step up and want to take that initiative again as far as doing that because I know [05:14] robo was big on the train the train system there for a while and linux and daddiefur and [05:23] nightflower were all on the the road group and they've kind of they're not really around as much [05:29] as they were yeah there's nice if we could get some more people you know and be able to [05:36] Just more involved. There's that but also at that same time. [05:43] A lot of the younger players had built a lot of property at the outer edges of the road system. So the roads were getting stopped simply because of congestion of properties at the ends of the currently built map of roads. [05:56] Yeah, I think that the apart from the whole congestion problem, it's also the fact that. [06:06] According to the map. [06:09] We're looking at a whole bunch of intensive activity on outer edges. [06:14] That do not really work with the. [06:17] Walking roads is just, it just takes too long. [06:22] Yeah, the, the. [06:25] How far away things are, I think, is being addressed with the. [06:28] The nether real system, but we're, I'm not sure how that's going to be handled. [06:36] yet. Yeah and lately the portal issue has been fun to try to deal with because I [06:46] was always a big fan of well why don't we just put a portal to the nether and [06:49] people started doing that right as nether bro seem to get they've gotten [06:54] messed up it seems like so that's why I'm kind of a big fan of this nether [06:59] rail but nether top rail kind of thing. Yeah that was we're kind of leaning into [07:05] that one sub topic so yeah the above bedrock transition yeah there's a lot of [07:15] people that are like yeah let's do it let's do it and there's some people [07:17] that are like this is breaking a vanilla and we should not do it so there's kind [07:21] of two sides to this yeah that was my concern and I posted that in the forums [07:27] but if everyone's okay with it you know I'm fine with it yeah just to explain [07:31] There is a vanilla way to get to the top of the nether you ender pro glitch through the bedrock [07:37] Used to be ways before several ways, right? [07:40] There used to be a way about putting yourself into a trapdoor, but that got patched in 1.3 [07:45] Did it really like yeah the quote-unquote logout ofators, which was you put yourself instead of an open trapdoor or closed [07:51] I don't know what you want to call it and you you got telepathy the next available airspace above you [07:57] Well that got patched in 1.3 and apparently 1.4 getting trapped inside of a block no longer made you go to the top as well. [08:05] So the only way that I currently know of to do the enderpearl thing. [08:10] Is there not still a bug where you can just like make the portal in the correct place in the overworld and it'll actually make a portal on top of the other? [08:16] I have portals in the nether that don't generate above Y128 and they don't link above Y128 either. [08:21] Yeah, and you can't get out get down without unless you got a you know, lift sign. So yeah, right currently is no way that I know it's right better off three [08:31] to be a bunch of ways but now I don't know of any. And I also wonder if it's going to hinder the transportation system in the survival world by making all these shortcuts in the nether. [08:44] nether [08:47] uh... well i mean yeah [08:50] we've talked to curly about it and if you guys decide you have a problem with [08:54] it uh... [08:55] we can disable lift signs in the nether [09:00] but that's pretty much that's that's the only way to fix it [09:06] yeah we have talked about lift signs and how [09:10] right now we're actually testing whether or not the plugin that handles the [09:12] signs is actually the reason for the lag [09:16] uh... because apparently curly did a [09:18] like examination with some plug-in and apparently [09:22] draft book i think it's called [09:23] but yeah but it yet [09:25] that apparently has some issues [09:27] but we're not sure if [09:30] we're not sure if it is actually the cut [09:34] on the that's also speak to the lag issue [09:38] uh... vantas and i and [09:40] uh... robo [09:42] this week actually [09:45] fairly alarming discovery regarding redstone [09:49] and it's uh... robo has a lighthouse [09:54] that he turned on for us and the server went from running at like [09:59] twelve tps to five just from him turning it on [10:04] yeah he was doing a large large amounts of redstone can [10:07] cause severe lack of the server was it just right so was it i'm assuming it was [10:11] also like redstone lamps and pistons right? Yes, lamps and pistons and everything. [10:15] I would like to check that out I'm not gonna like take it down I just want to [10:19] see how much of it is running because if it's if it's an extremely large amount [10:25] I'll kind of extract that but if it if it was you know a couple pistons and lamps I'm gonna be [10:30] kind of concerned. It's a very tall power and there's like eight to ten red [10:37] torches every other level to transfer the signal up and whatnot but yeah there's [10:46] I know there's also other people that are planning on building lighthouses that [10:50] we discovered that this afternoon and we're trying to find out we need to find [10:55] out if it's if that is impacting server stability with these large sites and whatnot. [11:01] I'd also like to see when at some point the TPS is higher at 17 or 18 if turning it [11:08] on will impact much as if it's lower. [11:11] Yeah. [11:11] And if there's other light houses too, that are active and someone's in that [11:24] chunk, like I know there's one in pod six. [11:25] Yeah. [11:27] So, I mean, I prefer all of them to be turned off myself. [11:32] Yeah. [11:32] I remember, I think the one in pod Dixie is like 10 pistons or something. [11:37] It's not as big as the other lighthouse you're talking about. [11:42] They're actually helping the lighthouse [11:44] because they ended up messing up some of the redstone. [11:49] So there's that, I guess. [11:54] So anyone else, Lighthouses? [11:57] Well, I was gonna say the one that Robrow has, [11:59] the way it works is it's a mine cart on a track [12:02] with four sensors that detect it. [12:05] And then those four signals carry straight up to the top [12:09] and they're four different like rows of redstone lamps. [12:13] And so it's not actually as complicated [12:15] as the one that I've seen at Pod Six here [12:16] because that has each single little lamp [12:19] goes at a different time. [12:21] So I don't know, it just seems like that one is better [12:24] but there's still redstone torches [12:26] that go all the way up the entire thing. [12:28] Yeah. [12:30] So I guess we can probably, [12:32] if I could talk a little bit more [12:34] about this redstone issue and lag probably [12:36] open topic in Minecraft 1.4 bugs when we get there but the next topic I kind of [12:42] want to move to is land ownership in push it somewhere else world I know [12:46] there are some mods in chat right now which is gonna help out a lot because it [12:50] was just as users it just be us complaining so I guess one of the mods [12:55] kind of explained probably you demon five uh you mean iPod I'm sorry I think you [13:01] mispronounced iPod's name. I can't long to claim what the push it somewhere else name [13:06] is because I remember Rades talked about what he thought it was was that we were [13:09] literally thank you demon five that we were literally pushing it somewhere else [13:14] in the survival world and what the push it somewhere else world is is it is a [13:21] world where we copy with world that we copy the building that people want move [13:27] somewhere else we put it in the push it somewhere else world which is just [13:31] flat world at level 20 just that goes on forever and we put who owned by I like to [13:39] put who was requested to be removed by just so we have that record who the mod [13:44] which mod moved it and what time they moved it and if the place is regent we [13:50] quickly take just that region maybe some more but yeah that's pretty much what the [13:57] somewhere else world right and will only and will only push push builds that have been abandoned or where the builder has been offline for [14:04] at least two months [14:08] Sometimes more if there's certain cases, but yeah [14:12] Does anyone else have anything to say about the? [14:20] Land ownership, okay, how about you drew? I don't think [14:31] Here's like whatever. I was killed words. I think it's Wow tonight [14:39] Alright, I guess we can move on. [14:41] We're waiting for Curly to stop hanging. [14:43] Okay. Well, that's recorded. [14:47] Forever. [14:48] Alright, I guess we can move on to the post office system. I know that's Rayton's little project. [14:59] Yeah, first thing. So, since it kind of was something that with 1.3 with the written books was going to be something kind of cool that we could implement. [15:11] and have the ability to send mail to places and to people and products and [15:17] things like that but we now have a actual mail system course chicken. [15:22] Sorry. No it's fine. We have an actual mail system now so the I didn't really [15:29] know if it was something that we need to do still or if people even know about [15:36] the actual in-game mail system if you type slash mail it gives you a list of [15:40] commands that you can use to actually send messages to people and then when [15:45] you log in it says you have a new message but the post office itself was [15:50] going to be these things kind of combined together and I just didn't know [15:55] if anybody really had a desire to have something like that to where you could [15:59] go to a location and like I could give chicken like a stack of cobblestone for [16:05] some reason because he needed it and it would push it to wherever his mailbox [16:10] is at his house or apartment or hole in the ground or wherever it is. So is this [16:18] using Sign Shop? This is using Sign Shop using Donate Hand. Everybody would [16:24] have to go to each location so if you had a post office in Leoville, had a [16:29] post office in the Mirage, had a post office in Sky 5, wherever they would be [16:33] you would have to go there and link that donate hand sign with your actual mailbox at your [16:41] house. [16:42] I think I get the idea. [16:46] Yeah and that's useful for moving items between players like you said. [16:50] Yeah we were going to use it for the written books too but we have a better system now. [16:56] Well written books works as well. [16:58] Well here's a point about written books. [16:59] If you want to write someone a novel then yeah use books because obviously by the slash [17:04] mail you're limited to. [17:06] Ex-characters. [17:07] Yeah, the amount of characters and sending multiple messages. [17:11] Apparently there is something with the mail system or the sign shop where if you send [17:18] the book and quill which has not been signed, it can be sent. [17:22] But apparently if you sign the book, it will wipe the written message when you send it. [17:29] From what I understand. [17:30] I thought that was fixed. [17:34] I haven't heard anything about it being fixed, but I don't know. [17:39] It may have, I really haven't looked too much into it. [17:42] That's just from what I remember. [17:44] I can do testing on it and we can talk about it. [17:48] So the problem with that being of course that Sign Shop tracks things by IDs, right? [17:54] So when you're buying cobblestone from somebody, you're not buying the actual cobblestone that's [18:01] in that chest, you're saying, all right, there's 64 cobblestone in this chest. [18:06] So I'll just remove it from this chest and give it to this person. [18:08] Right. And the information stored in written books is not stored in [18:14] data values. It's stored in NBT values, which are currently, [18:20] as far as we know, not tracked by. [18:25] Sign shop by sign shop. Yeah. [18:27] Apparently you can access that NBT data, [18:30] But I don't know how much the person who makes sign shop wants to go write their plug. Yeah do that [18:34] You know, maybe there'll be an add-on for that plug-in in particular maybe [18:39] for someone else to do [18:41] There may be a deep eye open. Yeah [18:44] By that I mean after I've been five look the forums constantly. I'm not about to go do that [18:54] Anyone else want to talk about the mail system? [18:56] So service for the word it's just in each district [19:00] There'll be like a post office with lift signs for each person's house in that district. Is that what it's going to be? [19:05] We're gonna like [19:07] registered [19:09] Post office places. Yeah [19:11] If you look on the dine map, there's actually a couple buildings right now right now [19:15] We have one in Leoville which needs to be filled out again, and then there's one in [19:23] The you store building that's over by the flea market. That was kind of like the prototype thing [19:27] What I was going to do was break it down to living sections such as there's these people that live in the Mirage, there's these people that live in Sky 5, and then organize them that way. [19:40] So it's like, okay, I know this person has a house in West Leoville. I can find them in that list. And all the signs will be linked to wherever the person receiving the mail wants it to go. [19:52] The only problem I see is that each one has to go do it themselves instead of the signs, [19:59] because we had one set up in the Mirage building in Marsh Towers where we had just for the [20:06] tenants in there, but we had to have each tenant go and set it up and not all of them [20:11] wanted to do that or knew how to use Sign Chop. [20:14] But for the people who do, I think it would be great. [20:17] I think that's just something that's kind of like, you know, if we set up a guide that's [20:21] good enough kind of like setting up a store in the game. It's not the most, you know, intuitive [20:28] process by what's in the game. I think the the guide that was written makes it super [20:34] easy for people to figure out how to do it. Yeah. And then people want to do it. So anyone [20:44] else want their thoughts on the postal system or else we're going to move to 1.4 months. [20:51] I was just gonna mention you talked about adding in the mail plugin where you could give somebody [20:57] what you have in your inventory in that slot so you didn't even have to worry about setting up signs [21:01] at all you just say oh give you know my inventory slot to that person and it just sends it to them [21:08] yeah uh one again going on just saying that there's a a lot of pvp servers they have the [21:14] same where you type slash give and then person stand then whatever you're holding in your hand [21:18] they give that to that person. So they may be able to invent it into the mail plugin as well. [21:26] Right. And that functionality is already there. But it's just not active, because I wasn't sure if [21:35] we really wanted it to be implemented or not, if that would take away from the vanilla thing [21:39] that people cry about so much. I mean, talk about it. You know, people. [21:45] Well, what does everyone else think? Do you think it takes away from the vanilla? I mean, [21:51] I think it just saves time so you don't have to actually go to them. But I mean, if you can [21:58] already give mail, then you might as well just be able to give items through like, I mean, [22:03] you can send parcels. Yeah. Well, consider think of slash mail as text messaging. Like everyone [22:08] has a cell phone. Using the physical post office, you can write a long letter or actually send [22:14] parcels then. That's true. I would encourage you guys to be creative with [22:19] it. I like the idea of the physical post offices and I like that idea that you guys have come [22:28] up with and I would encourage to use that instead of relying on a plugin for it. [22:32] That's a good element. It is already relying on a plugin but not relying on a plugin specifically [22:37] made for that. The problem I see with the physical post office is that it's like, oh, [22:42] I just want to give this somebody. Do you have a post office set up? [22:46] You know, not everybody will have one and to most people are gonna end up dropping stuff off at spawn [22:50] Which is what everyone does anyway, so and the problem with spawn is that you know people can take it in the middle [22:58] You never know [22:59] Well, it's a learning curve. Everyone has to help each other help each other out [23:03] That's just how it happens and the this the post office that will be in Leoville right now is [23:08] is right next to Chad's store and diagonal from the train station which used to be Demon [23:16] 5's store. [23:17] Okay, guys, ready to hammer the next topic? [23:25] Minecraft 1.4 bugs, server issues, kind of all over the place. [23:30] Oh my god, portals. [23:32] Portals. [23:33] Yep. [23:34] Don't remind me. [23:35] Portals everywhere. [23:36] All the portals. [23:37] Merry Christmas everyone. [23:38] How do I... [23:40] Free obsidian. [23:41] yes free of city oh yeah obsidian generators yeah my joke was that you have obsidian generators [23:48] don't worry about it what have I missed so far it's just so annoying to go around town [23:53] and see them like destroy it go back into vanish hard to be a mob it's so hard to be [24:04] a mob bad do we know what's causing that yet I have an idea about it but I would I [24:12] doubt that my idea would be correct. My idea is that some plugin maybe has changed [24:19] because people may or may not know this. The Nether is eight faster than the Overworld. If [24:25] you walk eight blocks in the Nether, you've technically walked 64 in the Overworld, I think. [24:33] I'm thinking that maybe some plugin has changed that seven or six or something, but [24:38] I highly doubt it well the portal seemed to be appearing in the same spot sometimes like I remember during the same one [24:47] It comes back [24:51] Another thought that I've had is that maybe some portals are trying to teleport to the exact location where it should be [24:58] That's exactly what's happened. I just went through putting mine in it and like one block different sent it all over the place [25:05] But when I got it exactly on block it was in the right spot [25:09] Yeah, so I'm thinking maybe some plug-in wants to be exactly where they should be [25:14] Which kind of annoying? [25:18] Only notice it hasn't created new portal [25:21] I don't know has it created new from the nether is has only been in the overworld [25:26] It's coming from the nether to the overall so it isn't going [25:32] It is both yeah, but the nether [25:34] Remember you have an eight you have an eight by eight [25:37] You have an eight by eight. I guess margin of error [25:41] Yeah [25:42] In the overworld you have a bigger margin of error. No you have no margin of error because it's no [25:47] Because remember each block over there's eight blocks in the overworld the one in the nether. Oh, yeah [25:53] So anything within those acts in the overworld would be that same block in the nether [25:59] Mm-hmm. I get it now. I don't know I'll have [26:06] We could probably just one day look at all the plugins and see if anyone else has mentioned these bugs [26:12] But bug reporting is either with some plugins it everyone reports a bug or no one does [26:18] From what I've noticed [26:21] There's been some plugins that have looked extremely buggy and no one will post a bug part even though everyone knows that these bugs exists [26:29] so I [26:31] I can have curly I think I can actually look a list of plugins right now [26:35] But I can have curly see if he's heard any bugs about these or any reports about these bugs [26:40] So do we get any other bugs that I've even noticed you want to talk about lag maybe [26:51] But we kind of already nabbed into that a little way back [26:56] We market lag [26:58] about that and I tell next time yeah I can try to explain why I think it's [27:09] happening go for it when I'm giving this yes magic it's cursed land you guys [27:20] just shouldn't have built a flea market on an Indian burial grounds I actually [27:24] As a prank I wanted to actually build a new Braille ground under there. [27:28] What it is is that Curly gave me the seed for Twitcraft and when I loaded up the world [27:33] in single player where I spawned was the exact coordinates of Rage's Shop in the flea [27:38] market. [27:39] So Rage's Shop is the original spawn of Twitcraft. [27:43] We moved it to where it is now but Curly made the world in 1.2.3 and we started playing [27:50] on the world in 1.2.5. [27:53] apparently there's a lot of lighting bugs with worlds that were upgrade 1.2.3 to 1.2.5 [28:00] which is why that chunk alone or those chunks lag but the other ones don't because they [28:06] were all generated afterwards. [28:08] And that's the only explanation you can think of and have heard about that would cause [28:14] that lag which would mean that the only lag will get fixed and I think silly chicken actually [28:18] said that when he opened up a world in a snapshot that had the quote unquote lighting errors [28:26] fixed it worked fine. [28:29] Though until they fixed it was highly reduced. [28:33] So until they redo the lighting system it probably won't be fixed. [28:38] Which is fun. [28:39] Yay! [28:40] Why don't we just take the flea market and push it somewhere else. [28:47] Minecraft ladies and gentlemen Minecraft. [28:49] As currently would say. [28:50] I need to get that on a sound board. [28:52] Minecraft ladies and gentlemen. [28:54] What about the whole you know, 6 TPS thing? [28:59] Um... lag. [29:02] I think that's mostly a tribute to the fact that since we upgraded, there's a lot more people playing on server doing a lot more things and spawning a lot more indies and sending a whole lot more block checks and things like that. [29:13] Well I mean, it's not- [29:15] will always equal more lag is the one thing if we had nobody playing on of course the server went perfectly [29:22] Well [29:23] It's to my knowledge is running on a pretty decent machine. It doesn't really make sense that it would have this much lag [29:31] Lame job. It is running on a very good machine, but [29:35] And even even good machines can believe yeah [29:38] Yeah, but... [29:40] See, I mean, I've played on servers that have a lot more people on them and they don't seem to have the... [29:47] 6 TPS. [29:48] Yeah. [29:49] The lag issue. [29:51] The one thing I have seen on bigger servers is, and I know, I think, I forget who was talking to me about this, they went on... [29:58] What was it? The iJustine server, I think it was, dear. [30:01] And they breed it a cow with another cow and the baby cow spawned and then was immediately deleted [30:09] There that's how much they're trying to control entities [30:13] So what I'm thinking that a lot of those bigger servers just lower the entity limit so much that [30:18] You have one cow in the entire world [30:22] Which is not what I would like happen [30:25] Is there any plans to bring the entity limit back down to what it was before the 1.45 patch? [30:36] Well, the one thing I'm wondering is that we have seen a lot more hostile mobs, but I don't know if Curly actually changed or not. [30:45] He mentioned that he's been slowly raising the threshold over time as he's been playing with the plugins. [30:52] But that seemed like a really big jump to be a little bit of a change. [30:56] So that's what I'm wondering about. [30:59] But I think would be a good way of fixing that is just going through someone downloading [31:09] the whole server folder or whatever it's sitting in and going through each plugin, [31:15] removing one at a time and seeing if that fixes the lag. [31:17] Well, that's what we've always wanted to do. [31:19] It really has been simple you want and where people really aren't on to test that but [31:25] whenever he goes well let's see if I can fix it now there's 17 people on so yeah [31:30] unless one day we will all want to get up at 4 a.m. to shut down the server [31:34] because I don't think it would help if we on just a different port load up an [31:39] entire copy of twitcraft then it's probably a bad idea [31:44] I don't know I'll have to ask early whether or not we could actually do that [31:47] or not. Or if you had a powerful enough machine just by itself somewhere else they could use [31:55] temporarily. I don't know we... maybe. I mean in theory he could probably just he could probably [32:04] use old checraff possibly but it's still not the same. Old checraff you mean acid pants [32:12] computer. Yes! That's where we'll check. Load it right on there. Right on there. But I mean it's still not [32:19] the same as you'd have an exact clone of the computer we're using now which we [32:24] which we don't have access to. So even if we do test it on another computer it it [32:29] may work fine or we may in fact find more problems by using it on another [32:34] machine. Maybe we just have really confused what we got limits with this [32:42] machine which I would I highly doubt but you never know Minecraft is [32:47] Minecraft so like that can happen let's be fair we're all doing everything we do [32:54] with all in our spare time so things are gonna take a long time to get done [32:58] like government that's the spirit did you just end that with just saying [33:08] government yeah yeah I said kind of like government it might and might not have [33:13] I just heard we all do this on our spare time. [33:16] Duffer me. [33:17] It seems like that would be a pretty important thing to just [33:23] just relocate the spare time. [33:26] I was going to say we've had that for the past 12 years of [33:31] somebody putting it on their spare time. [33:34] Oh my. [33:36] Politics everybody. [33:40] It's a town hall meeting. [33:41] Isn't that what it's supposed to be about? [33:43] Pretty soon somebody is going to throw a shoe at me and [33:45] fall into the over it. [33:48] right that's what right that's all this town hall meeting was for to throw [33:55] shoes at people it's significantly less fun to throw shoes in Minecraft because [34:02] you can't throw very hard and you can I can I stack no I threw them on the [34:08] crevice where my shoes go instead of saying like she's throwing ideas out of [34:16] See what sticks how about saying throw I throw shoes people's heads [34:26] Protection for boots [34:28] No. [34:29] I thought Dio have my boots. [34:31] He should have had my boots. [34:32] I thought it was a really funny joke when I threw them. [34:36] Alright, we're gonna move on to the next topic. [34:38] Keep going, I'm sorry. [34:39] We're the worst moderators ever. [34:41] So, we're gonna move on to a touchy subject, which is Leoville Plots. [34:47] Dun dun dun. [34:48] I'm like, don't remember which is not a touchy subject. [34:51] And you've got a logo. [34:58] The demon fact, how about Plots? [35:00] I don't know, I asked Shido about it. [35:01] He's decided it's his responsibility. [35:03] So it's, it's Chido's thing now, I guess. [35:08] The topic that shall not be talked about. [35:10] No, seriously, like Shido, [35:11] Shido has decided that he has a better idea [35:14] of how to run it than I do. [35:16] Well, Tido wanted to just start it. [35:19] He said, why don't we, for the first part, [35:23] until we can plug in to automate it? [35:25] Cause that's honestly like, [35:27] so we don't have to go around to people and say, [35:30] they rent, do whatever, pay it or don't. [35:35] We're like, we're just the laziest landlords ever. [35:39] Pay it, you know, or don't. [35:43] I don't know. [35:44] You know, they don't get the plot, so they're fault. [35:47] Right. [35:48] And we push it somewhere else. [35:50] And we take the Leoville plots and push them somewhere else. [35:55] He thought maybe we could just try to jumpstart it manually [35:58] because assuming that everyone won't rush to get plots, [36:04] which they will, which was the flaw in the plan, [36:08] it would be easier to do it manually until we plug in. [36:11] But in all honesty, you should probably wait [36:13] until there's a plug in, [36:14] because we've been promised by [36:16] Guy Made World Garden World Edit [36:17] that there would be the ability to sell plots. [36:22] And that was back in April, and it still has not happened. [36:27] And yeah, so I mean the biggest problem that I have with [36:33] Just kind of jumping into something like that and changing it later is [36:37] people [36:38] People can get angry when you change things under their feets like that when you in a [36:44] Just just you know when when you're like hey [36:46] So like this is how you pay rent you pay it on these days and whatnot and it lasts this long [36:49] And like I don't know where you're like hey guess what like you got to pay rent this much and these days and stuff and [36:54] people get mad [36:56] It's all about notice. [36:58] Especially with money. [37:03] Why not just make them exorbitantly expensive and then have the same, have it be like a one month policy before it gets pushed somewhere else. [37:11] We've been throwing back and forth prices for plots and all that kind of stuff. [37:18] You guys just keep changing the amount of money that you have so we have to keep changing our minds. [37:22] Stop making money. [37:24] money when we first were like hey let's let's sell plots like the first time we [37:29] we tried we we downloaded the the SQL of the everybody's accounts that they had [37:37] everybody all the money that everybody had and we looked at him and we found the [37:41] average of what everybody had and then we we based that you know we we decided [37:46] from that the price of how much we would pay every was every week every two [37:51] weeks or something and it was something like a thousand a month that we were like [37:55] hey this is like a really reasonable price and then it's like people make a [37:59] thousand in half an hour of playing or like maybe oh do you still have it Leon [38:05] yeah so it was something like that and so now we're like we should probably charge [38:09] a little bit more and yeah the economy is drastically changing now that with [38:14] the ATM system since it hundreds and hundreds of dollars is getting added to [38:19] economy every day. None's getting taken out. Right. I would like to work on ways to spend [38:27] money. I want to figure out ways that we can make it worthwhile to spend money. Casino. [38:35] We have... I'm sorry, I should explain. That's a legitimate idea. And I think all of the moderators [38:48] Would love to be able to let people buy regions problem is we can't that's not it's not possible [38:56] To the possible without the entire system being terrible to the best of our feel bad that they're like [39:01] Oh now don't worry about the fact that I may be spending a thousand this month or ten thousand to the best of our knowledge [39:08] It's simply just not possible to allow people to buy regions [39:12] Because that the amount of regions players are and by regions [39:16] I mean by the ability to create more regions, right? [39:22] Not not not by pre-made regions. [39:27] The the amount of regions that a player can be the owner of is [39:33] determines not [39:38] is is determines in in just a flat text file that just this is [39:43] this is the amount of regions that players are allowed to own. [39:45] And I don't even think it's done by permissions even. [39:50] It's just this is the amount that any player is allowed to own. [39:54] And so that makes things difficult where we can't really edit that dynamically per player. [40:06] Got it. [40:07] Yeah. [40:08] Is that only a preview? [40:10] Sorry, that took me like half an hour to explain, but yeah. [40:15] Sorry, what? [40:16] That players allowed to own or a players allowed to create because obviously you transfer region ownership [40:23] Between players simply by adding an owner and deleting yourself as the owner right? [40:29] But so that [40:31] Don't know that I create one right so and I believe it's it's the amount that you can create yeah, I think you're yeah [40:36] I believe so [40:39] Got it [40:41] and also [40:42] I figured that at least one person may go work the forum system if there's a buy and sell region plugin [40:48] There is the problem is that when you don't pay your rent what it does is delete everything in that region [40:54] It doesn't store a backup of it [40:56] So if you don't pay rent by the time that rents do on the exact second everything you owns deleted [41:02] Which is why we have not it's the reason we have [41:07] That curly really wanted to implement [41:09] Yes, that's what I'm saying if I recall [41:11] I don't believe that's what I believe the problem isn't isn't that it it deletes it [41:16] It's that it you instantly lose ownership as soon as you don't pay rent [41:24] By that region as well and right on all the stuff in there so you could you could [41:28] there could just be squatters that just wait for somebody to [41:33] To you know for the rent to run out or whatever and as soon as it runs out [41:37] They can run in and and buy it from from under them and then have everything inside of that region all their chests and everything [41:46] However, it will not unlock the chest so you if you walk your chest you technically would still own that chest [41:51] They would just have areas where they cannot build because chests are there [41:54] Yeah, but we would like something with the grace period and I wasn't a big fan of there. There was something with a uh [42:00] uh, you can, you could auto pay rent, you could make it so that it just automatically [42:07] takes the rent out of your account. [42:09] And I wasn't a big fan of that. [42:12] Why not? [42:13] We need debt. [42:14] I just, I don't know, I, I don't know, just for whatever reason, it didn't, it didn't feel [42:22] comfortable with me. [42:23] I felt like, I feel like people should, you know, come on and pay their rent. [42:28] The reason that we would have it not just be a flat fee is, you know, so that you buy it once and never have to pay rent again, is because we didn't want people buying plots and then leaving the server for, you know, six months and just taking up that plot where somebody else could be using it. [42:46] But if push it somewhere else still applies, then wouldn't you couldn't you just on like [42:51] a quote unquote rented space that instead of renting you sell it, but you make it so [42:57] that if they don't log on say within a month, it gets pushed or something like that, like [43:01] make the policy about pushing the property. [43:04] Let's say a Leoville plot, for instance, elsewhere, after a month's time, if they [43:10] don't log on. [43:11] So their rent requires them, is not actually monetary, but requires them to log on on a [43:16] regular basis. [43:17] Sure, I guess something like that. [43:19] But I mean, in that case, we would need to make plots exorbitantly expensive, like hugely [43:24] expensive to compensate for the fact that we're not charging them in monthly rent. [43:30] Great, do it. [43:32] So much. [43:33] That's a good question. [43:34] Yeah, I'm thinking like maybe 10, 20, 30 grand. [43:40] enough liars on here that make that sounds totally reasonable and it gives [43:44] people a goal to get to yep gives them a reason to sell stuff [43:47] demon five's logged into the pipeline or setting up the price only gets higher I [43:52] don't know if I mentioned that but the price actually gets more expensive if you sell things while I'm online [43:56] and demon five actually takes all the money right yeah all your money goes [44:01] straight to me as a couple other people mentioned a couple minutes ago or a [44:07] Couple seconds ago debts just have it manually [44:10] Don't have debt collectors after like a week and you have this much debt you get things taken away [44:16] Oh my god, can we have loan sharks? [44:23] Before but I want I want people to set up loan sharks and [44:26] And as they because because we don't have PvP on the server, you can just hire corrupt moderators to shake people down [44:32] Well, I still want [44:34] We had to I remember I think it was Daniel left and I had an idea for a Ponzi scheme on the server [44:39] And then I've always said that if we ever get someone who needs to take care of business because someone didn't pay their rent [44:45] I always want a [44:46] DJZ or lonely Doc geek to be that person [44:49] I've said I have said since like before we started twitcraft that I have always wanted to run a Ponzi scheme on a large-scale server [44:55] I I have always wanted to run like a huge Ponzi scheme on a minecraft server [44:59] You actually spent two hours explaining your entire scheme to me. [45:03] I think I did. [45:04] Probably. [45:05] I think so. [45:06] The biggest dream he will have in his young adult life. [45:10] I'm gonna film it and make a documentary about it. [45:16] So back to region. [45:17] So this town hall thing, this is going good. [45:20] Um. [45:21] To another portals. [45:22] Yeah. [45:23] I was thinking, where does that money go after you buy a plot? [45:27] Because then it's just destroying it into the economy or giving it to... [45:31] The idea, I believe the idea we were throwing around was that we would have some kind of a bank account where all the money from rent goes into it and that money would somehow theoretically be fed back into the economy like it should be. [45:47] Maybe that it would be used to buy materials for roads and stuff. [45:52] Lottery? [45:53] Right, yeah. My idea was a lottery, so we could have lotteries that – [45:57] And then find the lottery. [45:59] the landlord and it all goes to him. [46:01] So this is about the ATM. [46:03] No, Keena, he can afford to run his beak in 24-7. [46:05] Because he has one of those in his front lawn. [46:08] So if you do implement rent, is there going to be availability to sublet? [46:12] Oh, that question. [46:15] Particularly in the case of an apartment building. [46:19] Right. I think we discussed that. [46:22] And hopefully is I think the best we can do. [46:28] I think we won't really know until we have a plugin that we can work with and figure it out from. [46:34] I would very much like to be able to sublet things like that, to be able to buy a plot in Leoville and then charge rent for people to stay inside of it. [46:44] And... [46:48] Yeah. [46:50] So, yeah, hopefully. Probably, maybe. I think. Possibly. [46:57] Hopefully, probably, maybe. [46:59] Yeah, I don't know we'll see [47:01] work in progress [47:04] soon mark blizzard [47:06] It'll be out of beta. We'll do it in valve time right fun. Yeah, half-life 3 confirmed [47:17] You're three years a major [47:28] Silly chicken next topic. All right, sorry. We just took over your town hall [47:32] It's all good. I guess the next topic is open topic. We really don't have anything else [47:42] on the dock. So if I think we might go down the list unless anyone has anything they really, [47:49] really want to talk about. That's like burning questions. I kind of want to lead it over [47:55] the Asimov because he hasn't been on for quite some time. Kind of, you know, give us [48:02] Maybe future plans of Sky 5 or whatever. [48:08] I'm continuing to build out the residential lots when I have the time, which is rare these [48:13] days. [48:15] Once that's done, I don't really know what to do at that point. [48:19] I'm gonna have to, I mean, that essentially built out over that water mass. [48:25] Sky 6. [48:28] Maybe. [48:29] Or you could just go a little bit higher up. [48:32] At least you already had Sky 1. [48:37] Talked about putting lots on top of lots that are exists. Yes [48:42] So depressing to live there at that point though, it's the most horrible idea [49:04] Don't care don't care wait what rules cuz I feel like I've probably broken them [49:13] Okay, you know, please recite through from memory [49:20] Your roof lit up. That's probably the biggest one that I always see [49:23] I should probably do that on my house. [49:26] I don't even know if my roof exists on my Sky5 house. [49:30] I think it's actually upstairs so you should be good. [49:33] Yeah, I might have just torn it up. [49:35] Unless your house is still my house. [49:37] No, no, no, no, because I had a bunch of stairs on my house. [49:41] You know, I built my own house and then like there was the T2 incident where he rolled [49:45] everything back and stairs got messed up and I don't think I ever fixed it. [49:50] Nope, they're still messed up. [49:51] It's a piece of modern art now. I'm sorry we just took over your town hall again. [49:58] It is open topic. [50:00] It is. Um, I'm gonna literally go random topic. Let's explain to the users of the- the kencil. He's kind of chilling in here. [50:08] Is he? [50:10] Yes he is. [50:12] Well, chilling in town, twitcraft. But do we want to explain the situation to some of the users maybe? Some of the mods? [50:20] I don't think it's that important. [50:22] that important nothing what are you playing the whole asset over to demon [50:28] five I don't think it's that important you don't think it's that important I [50:31] don't think it's that important what's important nothing much to do about [50:37] nothing no one's saying anything birds and bees what I can't cancel cancel is [50:48] Lisa canceled the CEO of twits son that's that's all oh sweet I just kicked [50:57] them too you need you need to read the moderator forums a little bit more ash [51:04] there was there was definitely a post about that by Chad which we can talk [51:10] about later okay there's also a big paper are you okay yeah I understand that [51:18] read a post from Chad. He wrote half the word which you know whatever. I'm not saying that [51:23] everyone's getting away with it right now. It's war. It's intent. Okay. Anyways. [51:36] Speaking with the intent to swear. Open topic. Are we have any more topics to discuss or are we [51:40] just on something else? It's whatever comes to mind if you like something you've always wanted [51:45] to talk about. I'm really kind of hungry. Okay, that's great. The nether, the yeah, [51:52] the nether system, the nether rail system that's up on top of that, are we, do we want to expand [51:57] that out and make it a DOT style project? Or what's the, what's the actual thought from everybody? [52:07] I would be in full support of using the top of the nether as rail. [52:12] Yeah, it might not be my only thing about it is that I'm kind of sad that the only [52:17] when we didn't really access it is with a lift sign but there once for it I'm [52:21] for it then or for it I don't have a problem with it but what just out of [52:27] curiosity whatever happened with Stargates Stargates apparently the [52:33] plug-in with Stargates is kind of wonky right now Curly's done some fun testing [52:37] with them but Stargates if the plug-in is better will probably be a thing it's [52:47] It just depends on how we want it fully implemented. [52:51] If we deem it that it should be there, [52:55] it's if you have enough money to buy it, [52:57] then we put it there. [53:00] Got it. [53:01] It makes sense for putting the larger community farther away, [53:05] way over even the rail, because then there's [53:08] spawn to a big community far away, nearly zero time. [53:12] And then you build the local transportation system [53:15] around the Stargate at whatever that location is. [53:18] I've always been a fan of it just for that aspect that you still integrate rail roads, [53:24] all of it. [53:25] It's just centralized around these common points on the map. [53:30] I think if we do the Nether rail, then it'll just minimize the time so you can get anywhere [53:35] in less than a minute. [53:36] And I think that still keeps it more vanilla feeling than just instantly teleporting around [53:40] the map. [53:42] What if we can bind the, I don't know how we would do that. [53:46] take a nether tram to the stargate? [53:50] I don't know. [53:51] Somehow I feel like the stargates feel more interesting. [53:54] I mean, not vanilla per se, but feel more interesting in terms of traffic [53:58] flow than the nether rail, which just seems like odd use of an exploit on [54:05] top of bedrock on the neither, which is, I don't know, I would prefer [54:08] stargates to that, but that's personal preference. [54:11] I mean, to me, it doesn't matter. [54:13] Like I literally just built a what five wide three high hole that goes from the Mirage area [54:24] all the way out to where I'm at an inside of my fortress way out east like 3500 blocks [54:29] out east in the nether to make a train system and it to me I would rather just see whatever [54:36] we're going to use let's just use it and go that way and just start developing. [54:42] How much quicker is it for you? [54:45] For me it's not any quicker but for everybody else to get out here it's like 4 minutes versus [54:50] 10. [54:55] To get to the airfield I always use neither paths. [55:02] But imagine if there were bales there it would be quicker. [55:11] The nether system is by far the best way to go. [55:15] It's just a matter of how we're going to do it. [55:18] Do we want to, if anybody's interested in being a part of DOT, we need to set up another [55:25] time like watch the forums, we'll get together because I've talked to Linux and I want to [55:32] get people access to the building that has access to the building so that we can get [55:36] materials and do that kind of thing and get moving on it when we want to because not [55:40] everybody's on at the same time. [55:42] Right. [55:45] How high up above that bedrock layer can you build in the neither? [55:49] Is it indefinite? [55:50] It's another 128. [55:51] Wow. [55:52] Yeah, and the fun fact is that Pigman and Gast won't spawn above Y128. [56:01] So you will not run into the problem where you're right on a rail and then all of a sudden [56:04] Gast just shoots you. [56:07] No mobs are up there. [56:08] The only thing you will encounter is that mushrooms will spawn like crazy up there. [56:14] So you will find patches of like stacks upon stacks of mushrooms. [56:18] That's about it. [56:19] Plus it's always been really lit so you never technically have to light everything and you never run into anything because it's all clear and so you don't have to worry about tunneling through somebody's you know building or whatever. [56:32] And it's super easy to build and it uses eight times less of the resources than if you were to do it in the other world. [56:39] That makes sense. [56:41] I just haven't been up there so I was curious. [56:42] Yeah, I think there's actually a lip saying when you go to the nether or at least if you go to the other time then type slash MVS there should be. [56:50] Assigned within like 4 bucks. It will take you to the top of the. [56:55] Another do you should definitely claim some sort of proprietary rule system for building up there just so that. [57:02] The rail system stays full rather than getting. [57:06] Chaotic that that was my concern once I saw that there was already a rail up there and everything [57:10] I'm like, okay [57:11] If we're gonna do this as a server [57:13] We need to make sure everybody's on the same page kind of thing and not have you know [57:17] This rail going through another person's rail and yeah [57:21] just make it a little more organized and a little less of an afterthought than the rail system kind of was [57:26] you know, I know it tempered it a ton of work on [57:30] the system and [57:32] You know it makes it difficult when you're not planning ahead kind of thing to build some sort of like nether hub or something up there [57:41] something [57:42] Because I remember if you ever um if you ever go and [57:47] You go to where he to his plot is in leo ville [57:49] Then you use those list signs to go to the nether portal he built a giant nether rails [57:54] up place that people can I don't know how he wants to do but he to make it to where people could build out to [58:00] places and [58:02] That's what he wanted to do. I [58:05] Guess if we do the top the nether that would kind of override it, but I kind of like some sort of system like that [58:15] The rules for building up there should be formalized and it should really be just DOT turf [58:21] And I honestly believe that and if you're working up there [58:25] Then you have to talk to DOT first because we're gonna need some level of organization [58:30] I agree. [58:31] I'd be in full support of having before you build their go out you have to talk to DOT [58:36] and get approval from one of the members or all the members or something. [58:40] Problem is DOT is just Robro the Ramx moments. [58:44] Yeah guys I would just like to point out that I was running around with the idea for [58:50] about two weeks before I started building anything there and I got absolutely zero response [58:56] from Robro or anyone else. [59:01] I think it's a great idea to have a faster system and I'm glad you took the initiative [59:05] because it's brought it to our topics. [59:08] Thank you. [59:15] Can we formalize a rule system in like a post or something on the forums? [59:20] You can come up. [59:21] Maybe there's, I mean, how you say Robrow is the only one on DOT? [59:25] Is that true? [59:26] Nightire, Lenxwitch, and Bettyherb, but they're rarely on nowadays. [59:31] You know, I see Lenxwitch here and there. [59:35] I can mention her you guys are looking for well I can get a hold of her outside I can get a hold of [59:42] Probably not daddy for but I can get a hold of he and Linux which maybe and talk to them about it [59:47] I also say I personally have never been a fan of [59:57] And I wouldn't I wouldn't no I wouldn't say I wouldn't say I'm not a fan of respecting [60:03] player-made organizations as being official, but [60:07] I've never been a big fan of the idea of enforcing player-made rules and standards, I think. [60:15] Are you saying that, let's say someone says in this shop you cannot sell redstone and they sell redstone? [60:22] Right, like I wouldn't ban somebody for it. Like I wouldn't take moderator action against somebody who breaks a player-made rule. [60:33] I mean there's there's if they're being blatantly disrespectful to somebody right if somebody's like it's like don't rebuild it [60:40] Don't build here and somebody builds there then I'll talk to somebody about it because that's not so much a player made rule as [60:46] So much as that's disrespecting another player [60:48] But I and and I had I argued with Chad a lot when he wanted to uh to put the [60:55] The rail hub in my old shop [60:58] And just I didn't feel comfortable with making a player [61:07] Player made organization something that official but I mean that's just me [61:12] So I'll say like I you guys can make your own rules. It's just like you make rules for the above-ground land [61:20] You know and you know you can you just like you make rules for the above-ground [61:24] ground roads rather but I personally probably would not enforce them as a [61:35] moderator I probably would not ban somebody for building in wrongly in [61:39] another unless of course that one thing is unless I can consider building like [61:47] grief yeah grief you know I was gonna say but if it's like your tunnels must be [61:52] three by two and they build it three by three and that's where then that's a [61:57] that's a player made rule that should be player enforced. It gets complicated [62:02] though and I've run into this exact same issue with Sky 5 where people region [62:06] protect their things. Right. That solution was going to be [62:15] solved by something that we never got around to which was actually making a [62:20] set of standards and rules specifically around towns and what what towns are and [62:26] how much power they have. But yeah, you are correct. And in that specific [62:34] case, I would consider all of Sky5 to be your property that you are [62:39] allowing people to build in. So I would be fine removing a region that's [62:46] somebody left in your property when you don't want them there. And also the fact [62:53] that your kind of region, it was like in the first server started people were [62:58] I see private in the chests. [63:02] Which hey funny joke, I see it 50 times. [63:05] Or eating the cake, which I didn't replace with Iron Blocks. [63:09] We're not gonna just... what'd you say? [63:13] People don't eat the cake? [63:15] What are you talking about? [63:17] People don't eat because it disappears every day. [63:23] someone would you know reach a project any place without being allowed I would [63:28] remove it saying like it's not like we're saying oh someone's a protection house [63:32] but was it in sky 5 no that we're not gonna remove it I'm just saying that [63:37] well the issue I was running into is that people were building in violation [63:42] of the rules but on their little their plot and there was nothing I could do [63:47] about it because it was region protected and the mods can't enforce my [63:51] rules that was the issue so I essentially have no way of enforcing my rules and the [63:58] mods enforce my rules right I and you can always come to us and you can always [64:03] you know ask us hey what what can you do about this what can I do about this and [64:09] and and we'll be happy to happy to help you as much as we can I mean if you were [64:13] trained in let's say you wanted someone's breaking the rules on you [64:18] want them out out of sky five you said they're not gonna get out of sky five I [64:22] probably talk to them and say hey he wants you out of where he allows you to [64:26] build and you're not doing that you need to get out of where he lets you build [64:29] and I guess that's me and towns are a little bit different than then taking [64:36] control of an entire world or an entire you know the the top part of an entire [64:42] world but I would say yeah feel free to to decide on you guys's standards for [64:52] how you're going to build in the Nether and encourage people to use them as much as you [64:59] can and if you run into problems, handle them yourself to the best of your abilities and [65:04] if it gets to a point where it's uncomfortable to handle them yourself or you feel like you [65:07] shouldn't or you just can't then come tell us about it. Just like you would anywhere [65:15] else. [65:16] So guys on that note, I guess we can wrap up here. So thanks for coming guys [65:23] If you want to say bye or have a shout out quick [65:26] Yeah, any any last topics you would want to speak before we end it. I still want to know what boots are [65:31] I did have one question real quick. Yep. Is the podcast officially dicks? It's been nearly five [65:48] like you know six or seven weeks there's there's an episode in the chamber that I [65:53] just need to finish editing and remember discussing that and remember this [65:57] five converting a file does not mean renaming okay okay yeah okay I made one [66:02] mistake all right did you did you retie yeah I made a mistake I made a mistake [66:09] one time it was a rookie mistake oh before the meeting said crap they're [66:15] probably gonna ask me about the app. [66:17] No, what I was saying was you realize what this town hall is, is they got so sick of waiting [66:22] for a Twitcraft podcast, they're just doing their own. [66:26] I never listened to a Twitcraft podcast, so I don't know what to expect. [66:30] That's good, neither did I. [66:33] But yeah, no, it'll happen, yeah, sure, why not. [66:39] Also demon5, when are you gonna prank me? [66:40] Been probably longer than having the podcast with last time. [66:44] I'm sure that you're gonna be off of the server for long enough for me to pull with the prank that I want to pull [66:50] Week like this entire month last month [66:56] Also, I need to decide on the ethics everybody's leaving I [67:01] Looked at everybody just walking out. Yeah, I mean yeah, whatever [67:06] Quick question regarding the nether portal glitch [67:10] Are paired sets like unpairing? Is that what's going on? [67:14] It seems to be happening. [67:16] Yeah, portals that have been there forever are now linked to the newly created portal. [67:21] Yeah, which is what's having me and other people nuts. [67:26] There was a person, Cradle, one of the new guys that's been on the server here recently. [67:32] He had a portal that had been around since the beginning of time, underground, [67:38] that was now spawning an exit portal in a tree on his land. [67:47] Like it's so the one that was that he would used to use and that went where did that spawn a different portal in the in the nether? [67:54] Yeah [67:55] It was the same portal you would go through it from overworld to the nether and then when you come back out of that same portal [68:01] It spawned it up on top of a tree [68:03] Instead of the underground portal that he would have gone into [68:07] What's even better is when you make a new portal in the overworld go through it in the nether and then it spawns a different [68:13] Spot in the overworld when you come back through it [68:15] That's what we were talking about. [68:18] But I mean brand new portal. [68:21] So if you keep going back and forth does it keep zigzagging and creating? [68:26] No because it works on that absolute spot. [68:30] Yeah one more. [68:31] Yeah. [68:32] There's the one that comes from out of the nether back to the overworld and the Mirage [68:38] keeps spawning in front of I think it's G4, G5's shop but the positioning and the angle [68:45] constantly changes when you come out of it but it's always right there in front of the shot. [68:52] Yeah positioning is not something I don't think is under the calculation. [68:58] I mean the angle like rotation. Yeah all my all my linked pairs are still linked so I must have [69:05] done it right I guess because I haven't run into this yet. Thanks. Yeah my portal for my off like [69:10] I don't know what you want to call it far away base that's linked correctly so there are bunting [69:15] the portals are on there so I guess build it more correct than it is right now I [69:22] don't know it's a bad nation but portals act very strange is what I've [69:27] learned so far and I'm gonna interrupt you guys on in the recorded town hall [69:34] right here so you guys can wrap it up right here so you guys can say bye [69:38] I'm still more topics. [69:40] Bye. [69:42] Bye. [69:44] Suck. [69:46] That's true. [69:48] Here's the icing. [69:50] Just next to the superstore. [69:52] So that concludes this meeting 1 of the Twigcraft Town Hall. [69:57] So, yeah, after this gets done recording we can have more discussions or whatever. [70:02] So, thanks for coming guys.
