Books people wrote
Minecraft added writable books in 2012, and TWiTcraft's players used them for everything: a 31-page guide to the server's markets, a rule book for a Nether colony, shop flyers, job applications, a mailbox receipt, journals of exploration, a memorial for a dog, autographs, and at least one fifty-page prank. This is all of it that survived — every unique text found in a chest, an item frame, an inventory or an ender chest across the archived worlds, with the formatting the authors used.
A signed book is a finished "written book"; an unsigned one is a book-and-quill still open for editing when the server stopped. Nothing is left out or edited — these are public game files, and anyone can walk into the archive server and open the same chests. Only keyboard-mash test books are filtered.
From the shelf
The Explorers' Guild guide to TWiTCraft markets — 31 pages of shops, prices and rules, February 2014 edition, with instructions to copy it and pass it on. Over forty copies were still in circulation.
asim0v formally evicts Flubber8100 from Sky Five City, with an email address for appeals. City government, in a book.
The Hylian Nether Colony: plots 10c a week, no lag machines, and "put the book back in the chest when you finish reading."
A one-page memorial for a dog, left in a chest in New Survival.
Five players dug a rail tunnel from spawn to the mesa biome and wrote a book so everyone could find it — "copy this book so other people can see it."

A treasure-hunt gift: seven pages of horse care and one set of coordinates, dedicated to Sir Charles Pigsington the Third, Esquire.
Thirty-four pages of ODSTLink's daily record — mostly about the neighbours getting into his mine.
Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics, transcribed by asim0v. Naturally.
The receipt that came with a Redstone Inc. mailbox. "Welcome to TWITcraft's postal services!"
OMGchad's autograph. Twenty-five copies were found — people kept them.

Corporate warfare: Blaze Incorporated versus Day Glow Incorporated over the Diamond Sword Club's land.
Every brewing recipe on eight pages, with a companion price list.
The origin story of the Minevengers, written in a book left in an item frame at their HQ.
The BFFHQ community notebook — 37 pages of members writing to each other in a book in a frame.
Mr. Awesome's Journal of Great Discovery: numbered discoveries with coordinates, biomes and notes ("possible war?").
"TEAR NOW FOR YOUR FREE SAMPLE" — then forty-nine pages of unreadable obfuscated text. A prank, in six copies.
