The old worlds are back online as a walk-through museum. Nothing can be broken, nothing needs to be built — just wander.
- Open Minecraft: Java Edition (any current release — the server accepts modern clients).
- Multiplayer → Add Server → paste
twitcraft.dio.gg. No port needed. - You'll spawn in the Lobby. Each portal is labeled with a map and a date — step through to visit that world as it was.
What to expect
Everyone is in adventure mode with flight enabled, so you can fly around builds and go through doors but can't place or break anything. Use /spawn or /lobby from anywhere to get back to the portal hub, and /warp to jump straight to a world. Mobs don't spawn, it's always daytime, and PvP is off — same as the last week of the original server.
Player data from the original server (inventories, homes, positions) doesn't carry over — the 2015 files predate Minecraft's UUID system and were never released with the archive.
Archive maps
Every world in the archive, browsable in 3D from your browser (no Minecraft needed) or reachable by portal in the lobby.

History & credits
TWiTcraft was TWiT.tv's official Minecraft server — born on the Game On! show, grown through the ChatCraft days, and a fixture of Chad Johnson's OMGcraft. It ran for almost three years.
- 2012Server launches at
mc.twit.tvwith the lobby, survival and the ChatCraft community; the TWiTcraft Podcast and the first Town Hall meetings follow. - 2013The chatvival, fertalized and pvp worlds are at their peak — this is the era captured in the October and December 2013 snapshots.
- 2014Server moves to Spigot 1.7.5. new_survival and outworldland become the main worlds. Featured on OMGcraft episode 146.
- Jan 30, 2015Curley announces the shutdown, backs up every map and posts the archive at
mc.twit.tv/archivefor one week. - Feb 6, 2015Server, forums, IRC and Mumble go offline.
- 2026The archive is recovered from a surviving community mirror and brought back here.
"As far as I'm concerned you guys are welcome to do whatever you please with the maps and files I offer — host em yourself, play on em in single player, blow things up… Be awesome to each other." — Curley, January 30, 2015
Thanks
Curley (admin) and Vantes and the moderator team for running it and for releasing the maps instead of letting them disappear. VanDerProtofsky, robrotheram, Gamealition and Immortal Tools for mirroring the archive in February 2015 — the Immortal Tools mirror is the copy that survived eleven years and made this site possible. Chad "OMGchad" Johnson and TWiT.tv for hosting the community in the first place.
